Should I fix them (oops, just clicked on one to see what would happen and it said remove a bunch of other packages; I cancelled)? Lastly, there\'s a bunch of packages that could be upgraded. After installing mythdora, I also installed synaptic. I notice that the synaptic shows an update from 148 to 149. Anyone know what the differences are between the two. I did a yum update to see what it'd show knowing I could cancel out.

It says install 28 packages Update 324 and remove 0. I cancelled out as I didn't want to hose my system. Can I say yes to download?

The official package updater is apt-get and not yum. You may get yum to work to some degree and there are some posts on this in the forums. So to get things working with apt-get you first do an "apt-get update" then "apt-get install ??????". Please remember NOT to do an apt-get dist-upgrade or apt-get upgrade as you run the risk of breaking things.
