I am having really great results with it. My particular application is to allow my two Fusion HDTV5 Gold USB tuners to record from my cable service with clear QAM. It is fulfilling that need remarkably well. I much prefer the mythweb interface over mythfrontend since I can use it from any type of box, and the mediamvp package is great too!</p>\n<p>The only comment I have relates to using the gui scripts and shortcuts to control the backend. The scheme is great as long as nothing happens to the backend, but if it should die, an unattended box can stop recording.</p>\n<p>Being an old UNIX hacker, I set up init mode 3 to run the backend from inittab, so I was able to deal with it (I now default to mode 3).
