Never heard of it before but since it runs on a MAC, unix based, I would say it would work with Linux. But it does MPEG4 format, BLAH!!! I would get a much better card like a Hauppauge PVR card of sorts.

I'm doing a project that needs the mp4 format. That why I am looking at a cared with on-bord mp4 compression.....
