First of all, great job on MythDora. I have everything set up and working great. But I would like to edit my remote control configuration slightly.

MythDora actually is the only distribution where I've gotten a remote to work at all. I couldn't get my newer Hauppauge to work at all in Knoppmyth, Ubuntu (6.06 or 7.04), or MythDora. The mce_usb remote also failed to work in Knoppmyth and Ubuntu, but I have it working in MythDora. However, some of the buttons don't do anything. I'd especially like to get channel up/down working (mostly for my roommate, he always has to flip through the channels during commercials... though hopefully having timeshifting will help because it drives me nuts), as well as the Live TV button. I tried replacing lircrc and lircd, actually completely replacing them with ones I found online, but I think I may have edited the wrong ones because everything was exactly the same when I restarted. I'm not a complete Linux noob (though I am definitely a LIRC noob), but this has me stumped.

Thanks in advance for your help!

Sounds like you chose wrong

Sounds like you chose wrong mceusb remote. Someone else has reported this and they said choosing to the mceusb2 remote worked.

Sorry, I overlooked the FAQ

Sorry, I overlooked the FAQ topic. I looked the FAQ over before but must have missed this. I decided to take another look after posting this topic and there it was... I'll try again and come back if I'm still having issues remapping the buttons.
