Can't Install - fails on disk 2

Hello,

I'm new to Mythdora, and am trying to install.

I've downloaded version 4 to two CDs (and run the test utility at the beginning of the install). Unfortunately, my system won't boot from a DVD, so I'm forced to use the CDs.

The install fails immediately after I insert the second disk.

I get a message - "There was an error running your transaction", but no explanation. Not sure what to do next.

Some Background Detail
=======================
I'm installing Mythdora on an older computer. I'm looking to learn about the system before I take the plunge and buy new hardware. (All hardware works fine running WinXP.)

- AMD Athlon 800 MHz, 512 MB Ram
- ATI Rage pro (when installing, the system reports finding ATI Radeon RV250)
- SoundBlaster Live
- Asus K7 motherboard
- (Don't have a capture card, as I'm just testing, and plan to use the system to archive CDs and DVDs)
- DVD read only drive

When installing, I'm selecting the default settings for everything (except that I select the ATI drivers when presented the option)

More Diagnostic Info

Did some digging and discovered that you can press CNTL-ALT function keys and get more data. Here's what my system says

F2 - Prompt only
"sh-3.1# "
F3 - Lots of info messages. The last one is
"Switching from CD [1] to 2 for ('myththemes', 'noarch', '0', '00.20.1', '111.at')
F4 - Lots of confusing stuff
"<4> Unable to load NLS charset utf8" appears several times
"<6> SELinux initialized (dev HDC, type ISO9660), uses genfs_contexts" is last message
F5 - stuff about checking filesystem periodically. last message is
"Setting interval between checks to 0 seconds"

On the install screen

Error popup
"There was an error running your transaction, for the following reasons:"
No reasons given

The status message on the install screen says:
"Installing xorg-x11-drivers-7.1-3.i386 (0 bytes)"
"X.Org X11 Driver Installation package "

It's failing because of the

It's failing because of the low end ATI card you have. Don't use the ATI drivers when installing. Let the system decide what drivers to use for that card. Just don't expect much from it when it does boot up though.
