Hello All,

Help! MythWeb is missing.

I had my father install 4.0 all on his own. I assume he didn't know to check an option for MythWeb. Is there someway of installing it now without re-installing 4.0?

Thanks,
Mike

P.S. Great work Dad! (He's a windows guy and a good test of how easy MythDora is!! :) )

Guys,

Guys,

Found the problem.

Dad was using a old bookmark from 3.2 and I think it used http://localhost/tv and 4.0 uses http://localhost/mythweb.

Thank you both for the quick reply and with possible solutions.

- Mike

I didn't know you could not

I didn't know you could not install it, but not sure about that. You can check if its installed by doing:
rpm -qa | grep mythweb

should come up with something like mythweb-0.20.1-156.3.md4 if it does its installed.

if it doesn't you can allways do
yum install mythweb-0.20.1-156.3.md4 (i think this will work, it looks like mythdora has its own yum repository now.)

you can also copy the rpm off of the install disk if you don't have internet on the myth box.

more then likely though i would bet its installed and there is a problem with the ip your going to, its network connectivity, or apache. all equally fun to figure out. :)

-= GoneCrazy =-

you are talking about the

you are talking about the nice web interface that you add recordings to from a browser, right?

I'm not sure you can accidentally leave mythweb off, but you CAN accidentally have a firewall up with the HTTP port closed. might check that the port is open.
