MD 4 won't play videos

My MD 4.0 system has been working great for about a month now. However, I am having a problem where my recorded videos will no longer play. I scroll to my gallery view and select a video to watch, and I get a blank screen. Once this happens, the box seems to completely lock up. I can't even back out as the keyboard and remote do not respond any longer. Any ideas on what casues this or how to fix it????>

The blank screen and lockup scenario also occurs when I try and watch TV or a recording. I am using a NVidia 7600GT which Myth seems to recognize. Xine is my default player although I have tried changing it to Internal with no luck.
To add insult to injury, I am now getting the wierd neon colors on my screen as well.
I don;t get it. I did not change anything.....this just started happening after running fine for a month.
Anyhelp is greatly appreciated.
Try reinstalling your nvidia
Try reinstalling your nvidia driver. This would be the one named like nvidia-graphics????-1.0. It may tell you that it can't so you can either force it or remove all the drivers and then reinstall them using your MythDora disk.

Neon gone but still locks up
I managed to clear the neon colors by rebuilding my xorg.conf file but I still ge the blank screen and lockup when I try and watch TV or a recording or video.
Any thoughts what I can do??
You need to start the
You need to start the frontend manually from an xterm and then look at any errors that maybe listed when you exit from the frontend.
