Are VIA C3 CPUs supported in Mythdora 5?

I was running Mythbuntu 7.10 on the 1GHz system. Mythbuntu 8.10 (recently released, includes MythTV 0.21) can be badgered into installing but hangs on startup on the 1GHz system. Mythbuntu 8.04 was compiled for CPUs with CMOV instruction which is not present on the 800Mhz system, consequently crucial applications die with the kernel reporting \"Illegal instruction\". MythDora uses i686 and will
MythDora uses i686 and will not work on CPU's needing i586.
