How do I get my windows shares back?
Now that everything seems to be working fine, I cannot see my windows shares on my myth backend.
I had a shortcut to it and that is not working. I also have manually put in the network location for the shares but no joy.
I also cannot see my mythbackend shares (I am running samba) on any windows machine.
I can however see the samba shares on the MediaShare Mega
What do I need to do on the windows side to see the samba shares?
In the network on the windows boxes I see localhost.localdomain: MythTV AV Media Center.
The only files in that are the video files in my /storage directory.
All of my data is stored in /storage1
I did set up samba shares to /storage1 and I can see the files on the MediaShare Mega by Klegg.com
I am assuming that something is not right in WIndows XP and a Vista Ultimate machine.
I searched around for hours but I could not fix it with the registry tweaks out there.

I had a problem with samba
I had a problem with samba not starting on bootup and I had to start it manually.
This fixed it:

# chkconfig smb on
Did you check your firewall
Did you check your firewall on the Mythdora box? Did you turn on selinux?
