Mytharchive fails

Mytharchive terminates when it starts to burn a recording to DVD. The following is from the mythburn log.

Executing 'mkisofs -dvd-video -V The Thin Red Line (Manual Record /storage/temp/work/dvd | builtin_dd of=/dev/dvd obs=32k seek=0'
I: -input-charset not specified, using utf-8 (detected in locale settings)
:-( /dev/dvd: 2295104 blocks are free, 3113058 to be written!
:-( write failed: No space left on device
genisoimage: Broken pipe. cannot fwrite 2048*2
------------------------------------------------------------
ERROR: Failed while running growisofs.
Result 156, Command was: growisofs -dvd-compat -Z /dev/dvd -dvd-video -V "The Thin Red Line (Manual Record" /storage/temp/work/dvd
Please check the troubleshooting section of the README for ways to fix this error

Can anyone tell me how to fix this? Also, where do you find the README section?

Are you writing too a DVD-RW?

Looks like you didn't tell MythArchive to erase the DVD-RW prior to burning?

I was using a blank DVD-R.

I was using a blank DVD-R. In fact I saw that and thought it was strange so I checked the dvd out to make sure it didn't have anything on it.

MythArchive is busted I'm afraid. This has already been mentioned here.

I would try updating mythtv using yum and see if the fix has been added in. If not then I'm afraid you're stuck until it gets added into fixes.

I did a mythtv update and it did not help. I will just have to wait for a fix. Thanks for the suggestion.

And I have no idea why this takes so long to get into fixes. This was fixed months ago.
