From the MD 5.0 setup it appears that CommandIR Mini is currently fully supported and from the forums it appears that CommandIR II is intended to be supported in the "next MD release". Is there decent early support in MD 5.0 for CommandIR II if I get one as soon as they are released (any day now)?

Thanks.

Matthew Bodkin was very kind

Matthew Bodkin was very kind enough to send me the new CommandIR II to test with MD5 and I can say that it does work. It's still beta and isn't 100% "yet" but it does work. You have to compile the latest lirc CVS and then use his patch. Granted I am not using the full capability of the CommandIR II but I am assuming all does work.
