repeating "wants to upgrade your database schema from 1177 to 1214"
I upgraded from 4 to 5 today and everything seemed to go alright. When I tried to run mythTV setup from the desktop I got the mythtv wants to upgrade the database schema like I expected and it was on the pretty new blue backgroud.
Then I tried to run the setup again to check that all my settings were correct and change the IP address and now everytime (5 or 6 so far) I run the setup from the desktop it just repeats the "mythtv wants to upgrade your database schema" windows. But this time they are back to the grey backgroud from Mythdora 4.
Anyone else having this? I couldn't find any articles in the forums.

I found this http://www.mythdora.com/?q=node/3753 and it looks like I'm going to be screwed even if I get Mythdora 5 running, cause I use the XBMC mythtv.pl for my frontend and that is mythtv .20 anyway to downgrade back to mythdora 4 without losing recordings?

Did you back up your database before upgrading? If you did, then I am not sure why you would lose your recordings.
