PVR 150 Remote (new grey one)

Hi everyone. I'm having slightly perplexing problem. I've installed MythDora 2.1 without any big problems. In fact the only problem I've had is with the remote that comes with the pvr 150. As far as I can tell it's working because when I execute /usr/bin/irw it spits out output when I press buttons on the remote. But in MythTV nothing responds to any input from the remote. I've searched the mailing list and this forum and I've read that it might be a focus problem but I'm not sure how it pertains to my situation. Any help would be appreciated.
The following is an excerpt from /var/log/messages and my lircd.conf file:

Thanks in advance.

OK, when you get into an xterm screen to check irw and then when your finished, do not startup the frontend as mythfrontend. Right click on the desktop, go to Multimedia -> MythTV. This will start the correct mythfrontend and everything else that needs to start. Most people don't know this. I really need to put this up somewhere.

nevermind

It was my lircrc file. Fixed that and it works now. Thanks though =)

Didn't work

I tried what you said and it didn't work. There's still no response from the remote in mythtv. Any other ideas?

Thanks again

What was wrong with the lircrc file? That shouldn't need any editing.

I was messing around

Somone had told me that I needed to copy my lircd.conf to /home/mythtv/.mythtv. Not having any experience with LIRC I did it. Good thing I made a back up of it first. Anyway, I just overwrote the backup and restarted the lirc daemon. Worked like a charm.

There isn't any need to do

There isn't any need to do that as MythDora does all this for you. Unless you chose the wrong remote to start with.
