So my mythbox can no longer update from schedules direct. I have no idea why this happened but it did. I get an error about temporarily unable to resolve name. I changed my dns server and rebooted the machine. Now my machine is running incredibly slow. Everything is slow to react, even ssh. Mythbackend does not start up automatically anymore and when I start it up manually it takes forever! Does anyone have any suggestions? I feel like i might need to reinstall the entire machine, I really do not want to lose all of my recordings though! Suggestions? Are there any log files I could post? I am using MD5

Disregard the machine
Disregard the machine running really slow, it was a DNS issue. It was slowing everything down. I am still having problems connecting to schedules direct though. I get a "no route to host" error. Suggestions?

I did check it, and put a working dns name server in it. The machine is not running smoothly. I still cannot connect to schedules direct though. Everything is fixed, if you
Everything is fixed, if you have an improper DNS server the machine runs very slow. In order to get schedules direct to work again i needed to get a new IP from my ISP. This also gave me a new WAN gateway. All is well now.
