I hadn\'t found this forum yet. =(</p>\n<p>I can\'t test it out yet, the rest of my hardware hasn\'t arrived yet. Getting the analog cable/NTSC to work is paramount, the card will otherwise be useless to me and I might as well use is as an ice scrapper.</p>\n<p>While we\'re on the subject: are there any known issues with the Gigabyte GA-MA78GM-US2H AMD780G and MythDora? I read of a way to get analog to work on Linuxtv.org, extract from http://www.linuxtv.org/wiki/index.php/Hauppauge_WinTV-HVR-1800 :
To get Analog to work, follow the steps as shown in How to build from Mercurial up to "Build the Modules" and build the driver.
After "make install" is finished and if the system has loaded the default kernel's module, unload it with: modprobe -r cx23885
