I've recently setup a Mythdora 10.21 box running combined Front/Backend on one box. Has a Dvico fusion 4 Dual tuner card with remote (revision 1) running on a HP dc7700 SFF. The wifes impressed. Installed great and was up and running with some minor tweeking needed on the remote button assignments.

BUT. Yesterday, unlike my usual self, I clicked on the 'Oh yeah! update everything button'. Well, that didn't quite go as planned. Whereas before I had a remote control that worked and needed some tweeking, now I have no remote at all!
It just dissapeared off of the table! (only kidding) No really the remote control now is not working at all. TV still works fine, just the remote isn't, well the remote is probably fine just the signal aint getin through!

dmesg | grep IR shows;
input: IR-receiver inside an USB DVB receiver as /devices/pci0000:00/0000:00:1e.0/0000:07:04.2/usb3/3-1/input/input6
cxusb: No IR receiver detected on this device.

Been trawling the net all morning without joy as to why this has happened, except for my 'update everything' mistake mentioned above.

I've attached some relevant log and listing result files below.

Some assistance with how I might approach this would be appreciated. The trigger was the updates, it was working, then it wasn't, and now...
