md10.21 sound problem

I Have MD10.21.

It has been running trouble free for a while.

It has a sound card and Onboard pc speaker attached to mother board.

At present the sound for tv is coming from the Onboard pc speaker and sound card.

I tried to disable pc speaker by
rmmod pcspkr
and added it to /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist like this

blacklist pcspkr

Unfortunately the sound is still coming from both sound card and on board pc speaker.

What else do I need to do to disable the on board pc speaker.
