Right key fuctionality and programme highlighting when using shedule recordings programme finder
As mentioned here:
http://www.mythdora.com/?q=node/5097
The right arrow button now acts very differently.
I notice it most when managing recordings, I scroll halfway down shows beginning with the letter T, I press the right arrow to see the show times and if I press the right arrow again it goes back to the alphabet listing and starts at the top again.
I am not sure where this was introduced or if it is an oversight due to rewriting of the interface but it is very frustrating.
Another issue I noticed when trying to use programme finder is:
Previously, when a recording was set for any time slot for a show then the title would highlight indicating that some kind of action has been taken, now it does not highlight it. This results in time wasted to check that you have set something to record. It is sometimes made worse by the problem above("oh good it is recording, lets check it gets enough storage"[press right key]"Doh, Arghh!").
This functionality used to help a lot with quickly working through the entire Programme Finder from 0 to @. Yes I was familiar with it, however I still made the occasional mistake but did not end up booted back to the start of a character listing, now should I make the wrong key press I will waste comparably a lot of time getting back to where I was. And of course my familiarity with the old interface makes me prone to repeat this mistake.
Is there a new check box somewhere to re-enable these parts of the old interface?
