MythWeb won't run

Firstly, thanks very much for MYTHDORA, i've tried sooooo many times to get myth and linux up and running and failed dismally until now.

Enter in http://ipaddress

IE is not as intelligent as Firefox about identifying IP addresses.

How are you trying to access MythWeb? Are you using an internal IP or hostname? Still think mythfilldatabase isn't correct.

I've tried with both the hostname and the ip address in the web browser but same message. just trying a fresh install now to make sure i didn't "tweak" something.

Tried a fresh install and still the same.

silly question maybe but can you post the URL you are trying to access. I've seen a similar message if you type say http:\\192.168.1.200\mythweb into your browser. You just need to put the ip, so in this example it would be http:\\192.168.1.200 , adding a \mythweb will produce a grey screen in firefox (not sure in IE) that has a square in the middle that says unknown module specified (then no the next line) mythweb.

no prob! Its always the obvious that evades us. I know that there are other ways of installing that do result in you needing \mythweb but mythdora sets it all up for you to server from the root of the webserver.
