I am trying to use Mythburn in Mythdora 2.32 to output a dvb recording to an iso file however it doesn't seem to be working.

Any ideas why this might be?

Any help would be much appreciated!

It looks to be choking when

It looks to be choking when java tries to do it's thing. Only thing I can think of is to change the Stream Type to something like MPEG-2 PS or any of the DVD ones. This can be done in the frontend setup under Recording Profiles in TV Settings. DVB seems to have some trouble in mythtvburn so if this doesn't work then I'm out of suggestions.

But unfortunately this doesn't help your already recorded program.

under recording profiles i

under recording profiles i only have hardware dvb encoders (default, live tv, high quality, low quality) and transcoders (autodetect from rtjpeg/mpeg4 , autodetect from mpeg2, high quality, medium quality, lowquality). The 'stream type' you speak of, is not there.

I can't see PS anywhere. What exactly is it I should change?

Also, aren't these are just profiles? How do i find out which one mythtv is actually using?

edit: also in any of the entries for Hardware DVb encoders there are no options, just 'Profile Name' (eg. "Live TV"). Shouldn't there be stream options here maybe? Is this because my card comes up as some Zarlink card under mythtvsetup when in reality it is a DVICO Fusion HDTV Plus?

Under these settings for

Under these settings for LiveTV, default, High, etc., there are more settings under these if you hit the enter button. This is where you need to set things up anyway for your height and width resolution. Anyway you should see the Stream Type in there.

As for your type DVB card, the Zarlink is correct as I have heard of this before.

There is no setting for

There is no setting for "stream type".

Only setting for 'codec' in which i can only choose RTJpeg or MPEG4.

Is this what you mean?

I can set (under hardware dvb decoders) to transcode automatically after a recording however how do i even know which transcoding profile will be used? I understand that when i schedule a recording that i can set the recording profile to High, Live, medium or low. Does that designate which transcoder will be used (and hence 'live' means no transcoding)?

Again, there is no mention of PS or TS. In the old version of mythtv i remember seeing these under 'Advanced' under 'Capture cards' in mythtvsetup however it appears that 'TS' or 'PS' have been removed from there.

I was afraid of that. Looks

I was afraid of that. Looks like they made DVB only one type of stream which means it maynot work with mythtvburn.

I think a recording i just did is undergoing some transcoding at the moment (well commflagging as we speak, i'm assuming it will transcode after this?). Anyways, when it's done, i'll test it out and see what happens.

Well I do know for sure that

Well I do know for sure that anything that has been transcoded into a format other than MPEG-2 will not work. So it has to be transcoded back into MPEG-2 format.
