New FrontEnd problems

I used the 12.23 LiveCD to install on my hard disk a FrontEnd only on a new Zotac MAG HD-ND01.

I seem to connect to the BackEnd OK but I am unable to watch shows previously recorded on my FrontEnd.

Here is a snip of terminal output running mythfrontend:

The Frontend shows me all of the recordings available with their preview pictures, but when I attempt to watch a show I get a "Could not connect to server : 6543" error
as seen above.

When I attempt to watch TV, the menu disappears, my HDPVR lights up for around 15 seconds but then shuts down with the menus coming back up having failed to display any
TV.

I would appreciate any help available.

Same Here

I have also run into this issue using the install of 12.23 DVD, both before and after updating the system.

I am trying to get Mythdroid to work, but i get connection refused messages on port 6546 and 16547.

I have tried stopping iptables as well as disabling the firewall and SELinux to no avail.

Can can anyone lend some assistance?

Fix :)

You need to enable network remote control:

Goto Setup->General-> remote page (last page) and check that 'Network Remote Control Interface' is enabled and the 'Network Remote Control Port' is set to 6546.
