Just setup a new mythtv box (frontend/backend mode) using mythdora 12.23 and upgraded to the latest 0.24-2

When I try to delete a video (hitting D in mythvideo using browse mode) one of three things happens:

1) video is taken off the list but then appears when going back into mythvideo
2) frontend crashes
3) video is actually deleted (this happened once but have not been able to reproduce)

I checked the permissions and nothing should be preventing user mythtv from deleting. For now I am deleting thru samba on the PC in /storage/videos

Have tried hitting M and then rescan but no change.

Everything else is working great on this box ... much nicer than trying to get mythtv running earlier in the decade!

Anyone else have this working and I am just doing something wrong?

More info - turns out different videos are being deleted. So if I delete a video at the top level a video file with a different name in the lower level directory is actually deleted ... weird.

*edit* ... I switched to a flat file structure in /storage/videos and was able to delete a file successfully. Perhaps this is only an issue when you have lower level directories in /storage/videos
