0.25 DVD playback

I haven't played DVD's since 0.23 and I no longer have the Play DVD menu item under Optical Disks which is still mentioned in the wiki (is this still correct?)

no "Play DVD" option 0.25

I can confirm I no longer have a "Play DVD" option. I stumbled upon this message while researching my similar problem.

I'll post back if I find an answer.

Sorry I found a fix for this but forgot to post back

I think I edited ~/.mythtv/optical_menu.xml and Changed the below button, I believe the action was JUMP Play DVD and is now JUMP Play Disc, possibly changed in 0.25?

DISC_PLAY
Play Optical Disc
Play a film on Blu-ray or DVD
JUMP Play Disc

Thanks for the pointers. I found that I had ~/.mythtv/optical_menu.xml left over from an older version that was taking precedence over the default (accurate & working) version in /usr/share/mythtv/themes...
