You don\'t have to setup anything manually. MythDora will do that for you. You just tell it what you have installed. Asus dvb-t

Hi Dennis.

I will borrow a dibcom based dvb-t from one of my coworkers. The reason for asking was, that i wanted a fairly easy to setup tuner. I'm kind of mystified by the one time post install script where the hardware properly isn't supported. I wasn't asking for the "best" :-)

I gues that i have to set it up manually and tweak myth after that.

Nope. You don't have to setup anything manually. MythDora will do that for you. You just tell it what you have installed. You "may" have to tweak Myth a little but thats it.

Ok, i bought a haupauge nova t usb tuner. It works fine after googling for the rigth firmaware file. there is a dvb-usb-nova-t-usb2-02.fw file in /lib/firmware but not a dvb-usb-nova-t-usb2-01.fw renaming the file dosent work for my tuner. i Googled around and found a dvb-usb-nova-t-usb2-01.fw file on a danish site i think ( I forgot the address).

Oh, btw. can you include the nvram tools for mythwelcome in the next release ?

My usb card specifically ask for the 01 file, renaming the 02 to 01 the tuner is found and initialized but it cannot scan the channels.

The precompiled rpm works fine on your current release.
