Motherboard ECS RX480-A Socket 939, Athlon 64 3500+ 90nm
TV Card Fusion 5 Gold Plus
Hard Drive Basic WD 80 GB (For now)
1 GB Memory
19" Wide Acer LCD monitor
Sapphire 9250 Video Card
Case nMedia HTPC 300SA Silver
I have a basic 250W Power Supply
I am thinking of adding an external 8 BAY RAID array as well. I plan on ripping a LOT of media
I have Comcast digital cable
Anyone have any experience with any of these or know if they work? I already ordered everything so its not like I can change my mind at this point. I just plan on ripping DVDs, mp3s, and recording Digital and Analog TV (Hopefully I can do both)

Cost ?
If I am not being too nosy about it, what is this costing you to build ?
Approximate cost is OK, I do not need it down to the penny.
Good luck.
Your system looks to be OK.
Your system looks to be OK. I personally would have gotten an Nvidia card instead of ATI but it should work using the ATI(fglrx) driver.

LOL, I forgot to mention...
I actually have the card in another computer I was just gonna pull it swap it to the new one. But if it makes it easier I still can buy another card. Whats the exact model number on that nVidia card? I really dont play games so I dont know too much about video cards. And thanks for the reply :-)
A good all around
A good all around inexpensive Nvidia card is the GeForce FX5200(128mb). It maybe up to a 5500 or 5600 now but Ebay should have some.

Thanks!
Just found one for $29. So will this video card output the HDTV resolutions? Like 1080i, etc...
Yep.
