Fatal Error Unexpected response to MYTH_PROTO_VERSION 'MYTH_PROTO_VERSION 26'

I get this error in MythWeb almost every day. The only way I can view mythweb is by rebooting my pc. Is there any way to fix this error?

I am using the Mythdora 2.32 with Mythtv 0.19. I have mythfrontend and mythbackend installed on the same computer.

Well, im no expert on things

Well, im no expert on things like this, but since you are getting "unexpected response to MYTH_PROTO_VERSION", i would assume you have either accidentally updated mythbacked, or mythweb to an incombatible version. I am guessing that "MYTH_PROTO_VERSION" is reffering to the protocol system that mythtv uses for communicatiion between the backend, frontend and all plugins. Have you tried to run any upgrades recently? Like upgrading to Mythtv 0.20, because that could be the source of your problems. Normally you get protocol errors in mythtv when one module is newer then the others (eg: mythfrontend 0.20 mythbackend 0.19) because they change the protocol with each new release to avoid cross compatibility issues.

I did a quick search and there is some information on the mailing list which collates with what i have been saying:

http://www.mythtv.org/pipermail/mythtv-users/2006-February/125071.html
http://www.mythtvtalk.com/forum/archive/o_t/t_3689 tv_attempting_to_change_from_none_to_none.html
http://www.gossamer-threads.com/lists/mythtv/users/194714

I guess the important thing is fixing this for you now. I dont really have any solutions here, so unless you can isolate what has been updated\changed, i would suggest a reinstall as the easiest recovery option.

I am sure I was running

I am sure I was running Mythtv 0.19 because I had never tried to upgrade anything. So I went ahead and upgraded to 0.20. I wasn't able to view the Upcoming Recordings until I did a complete reboot. Everything seems to be working after the upgrade but I will have to wait and see.

Upcoming Episodes on .20 Crash back to Desktop

Since I upgraded I haven't seen the MYTH_PROTO_VERSION 'MYTH_PROTO_VERSION 26' error yet. But when I go into "Schedule Information" > "Program Details" or "Upcoming episodes for this title" Myth frontend crashes back to the desktop. Also there are 2 "Upcoming episodes for this title" listed in "Schedule Information". Does anyone know how to fix this problem?
