It's just what the error

It's just what the error states. You either have filled up your root partition or your /home directory can no longer be written to. More than likely it's the first. Have you saved any files onto your root partition? Perhaps /tmp needs to be cleaned. One thing that may need to be cleaned is apt-get. This can be done by doing apt-get autoclean. Get to your root prompt and type in df as root. This will show you your free space available.
To check your permissions at /home directory, do an "ls -la /home/mythtv".
