The pundit-r has an ATI 9100 IGP video card "built in".
Using MythDora 3.0 I chose "legacy ATI" during setup and
copied ATI.xorg.conf from the misc configurations to
/etc/X11/xorg.conf
I find that when I alter tv appearnce settings using MythTV
that the screen goes blank, and I must reboot to get the
display back. APC (the shutdown switch) does not appear to work, so I may have more work to do.
To set width and offset, do I edit driver settings in xorg.conf, or is there a GUI to adjust the screen positioning?
Suggestions?
Thanks,
-Dennis

I use the same thing and
I use the same thing and found out that after creating these custom legacy ATI drivers that there is a bug in the fglrx module that makes the screen looked zoomed if using accelerated video. So your gonna have to do what I did and thats either stop using the accelerated video in fglrx or use another driver like vesa in xorg.conf and see which one you like better. I find that the fglrx driver without acceleration works with lower CPU usage better than vesa but using vesa the picture seems to fill the screen a little better. To disable accelerated video open up xorg.conf and change this line to read yes.
Option "no_accel" "no"
