mythburn and mythstream

For the life of me I cannot get mythstreamtv to work. Here is output from the little logbox in mythweb. I'm pretty new to mythtv but so far this is the only thing i'm having trouble with.

Also, is I don't have the mythburn in mythweb and from what i'm reading in the forums i think i should.

What kind of capture card

What kind of capture card are you running? If it's DVB then it must be an MPEG2 compliant video. As for the mythburn program, thats no longer included in the 3.0 version of MythDora. There is now the MythArchive program located in the DVD section.

It's DVB

It is a DVB card recording terrestrial HDTV. Which since all the card does in that case is pass along the HDTV MPEG-4 stream it wouldn't and never would be MPEG-2. I'm guessing that this is then an issue that needs to be taken up with the guys working on mythstreamtv in that case since MPEG-4 is pretty much the standard choice for HD video these days whether in broadcast or on the new HD discs.

As to Mytharchive I see it now (I really shouldn't post questions so late my eyes quit working), but is there anyway to put that into mythweb as well?

Yeah the MPEG4 stuff will

Yeah the MPEG4 stuff will not work with mythstreamtv. That goes for the MPEG2 HD stuff as well. It really seems to only be good for analogue MPEG2 video which PVR cards output.

As for the MythArchive request, I'm afraid no mythweb is possible.

Can I transcode the video to standard def and get it to work?

Okay it's a little weird that it wouldn't work with Mpeg-2 HD as the only difference between HD and SD mpeg-2 is the resolution and in the case of 720p the progresive scan but it's a moot point since all the major broadcasters use mpeg-4 for over the air HD.

But is there a way that I could transcode the video to say dvd quality SD (720x480) and then use mythstreamtv? If so then how would I set that up? I see the options to transcode the video but I don't know how to define the settings for that transcode.

Look into Nuvexport which is

Look into Nuvexport which is included with MythDora.
